Welcome!
This website helps everyone, from children to adults, take their first steps into electronics and programming in a fun and simple way.
It has two main parts, Micro:bit (ages 7–11) and Arduino (ages 12 and up), where you learn the basics of analogue and digital electronics with microcontrollers. The lessons are written mainly for children and young people, but adults who are just starting out will find them useful too.
You will find simple experiments as well as more complex builds, whatever your previous experience. The goal is for learning to be interesting, clear, encouraging, fun and creative, with projects you build yourself.
Micro:bit
micro:bit lessons for children aged 7 to 11: electric circuits, the breadboard and block programming in MakeCode, step by step.
Ages 7–11
Arduino
Arduino lessons for ages 12+: electronics basics, measuring with a multimeter and C++ programming with real components, from an LED to traffic lights.
